Three drunkards are led to a gold-laden tree by a mystic, initially on their search for "Death". But their journey ends when their greed quickly grasps their lives.
Three drunkards set out on a mission to find the secret thief known as "Death".
On their way, an old man gave them the directions to the last place he saw Death.
Death was not present at where the old man had said.
Instead, they were met by treasures and intended to keep it to themselves.
The youngest conspired to kill the two and take the treasure for himself.
The two conspired to kill the youngest and split the treasure. They succeeded but drank the wine that the youngest had poisoned.
In the end, God delivers a powerful message on the sins of avarice.
