I had been given three options, but to me, none of them seemed great. It was to choose to go with my dad to Utah, with my mom to Brazil, or to stay with my grandparents at home. I couldn't decide which one to choose, as I felt anything it did would hurt the other person.
It was simple really, I wanted to go see my cousins in Brazil, because I normally didn't get to see them, but I felt it still would be unfair to my other family members in Utah, and to my grandparents. So I took some time, thinking, about my decision.
After discussing with my dad, I came to conclusion that I should go with my mom. We would be visiting Utah anyway in the summer, so I wasn't missing out on much.
"Wow! I didn't know people could actually choose for themselves!"
"Yes, unfortunately to sameness, people can no longer do that."
"At least now I know that there once was a time where we could choose for ourselves!"
