  • Exposition
  • We are not married yet, Paris...
  • Juliet, my love!
  • Oh, how I wish I, Friar Laurence, was never included in this
  • Conflict
  • Juliet, take this sleeping potion, it will make it look like you've died when really you will be in a deep sleep. Then Romeo will come,once the potion has worn off, and take you away to live a new life somewhere else. You'll never have to marry Paris.
  • Hmmm, I will take it, but think it over before i am sure of using it.
  • Rising Action
  • Finally, how wonderful. No point in waiting too long, lets move it a day early.
  • Mother, Father, I've decided to agree to the wedding. I'd be a pleasure to marry Paris.
  • Although Paris is exited to marry the lovely Juliet, Juliet is not as excitable. Also, Friar Laurence wishes he was never involved in his mess of love.
  • Rising Action
  • On one hand, the potion will finally bring me and Romeo together forever
  • On the other hand, I could wake up early and go mad, or this potion really will put me to sleep forever
  • Juliet must decide wether or not to go along with Friar Luarence's plan to keep Romeo and Julie together forever.
  • Climax
  • Am I imagining things? Ghost of Tybalt is that you?
  • 'Tis I, and I seek vengeance towards Romeo, where is he?
  • Juliet deceives her parents by saying she is ready to get married to Paris, when really she is just going to her room, alone, to think over Friar Laurence's plan.
  • Denouement
  • Juliet is thinking about the consequences and rewards of Friar Laurence's suggestion.
  • In a vision, Juliet sees the ghost of Tybalt who is seeking revenge toward her be love Romeo, it pushes he to take the potion, putting her into a deep sleep.
  • I shall never tell, but I shall take this poison potion so you may never know!
  • NOOOOOO!
  • The plan has worked, the wedding is off, and if all goes to plan, Romeo and Juliet will soon be reunited.
  • Our daughter is... dead! Cancel the wedding, prepare for her funeral.
