King Lear tells the two men that is in rivalry to marry Cordelia that she is nothing to him. He tells them he has disowned her and doesn't care about her anymore, so whoever wants to marry her, can. Though she will marry with nothing,but herself.
Cordelia is worried about King Lear and sends people to look for him. She wants find her father,so the doctor can make sure he is okay and she wants to keep Lear safe.
King Lear kneels down and begs for forgiveness to Cordelia. He learned that Cordelia was his only daughter that truly loved him. He apologizes for disowning her and treating her unwell.
