Two houses in Verona, with hatred towards each other will face a great tragedy in this two hour play about the star-crossed lovers whose deaths hope to mend the feud. Pay attention and you shall see how this all plays out.
Romeo and Juliet meet at the Capulet's party and fall in love. Juliet proposes that they get married. They end up going to Friar Laurence to get secretly married.
Romeo and Juliet can't be together but they try and they secretly talk with one another. Lord Capulet and Lady Capulet do not know of their marriage and want Juliet to marry Count Paris. She doesn't want to so she tries to escape home to be with her true love.
Romeo kills Tybalt because Tybalt killed Mercutio and Romeo ended up getting banished to Mantua and makes Juliet weep.
Juliet is heart broken that she has to be away from Romeo, so much so that she would rather die. She goes to Friar Laurence, who givers her a sleeping potion so that her family and Paris will think she is dead and Friar will send word to Romeo and he'll come save her and they'll "live happily ever after."
Friar John never made it to Romeo, but Balthasar has told Romeo that Juliet is dead and is in the Capulet's tomb. Romeo goes and buys a poison powder and then runs off to kill himself next to Juliet. Juliet wakes soon after to find Romeo dead and she kills herself with the dagger so that they can finally be together.
