The second Crusade was launched because the Europeans were losing lots of land. Since there planning was bad they failed.
The kings launched the 3rd Crusade but eventually started to argue amongst themselves. Richard the first managed to capture a few cities but he never captured Jerusalem. Eventually Richard and Saladin signed a peaced treaty.
The group of Knights attacked Constantinople. So they could pay off their debt they had to attack Zara, even though it was a christian city.
Europeans learned about new productsfrom the east like silks, cottons, and exotic fruits. They also learned mathematics and architecture.
The kings gained more power by collecting the land of the dead lords and knights.
Hostile feelings are still seperating Christians, jews, and Muslims today.
