  • The Greeks developed many different things including, literature, theater, art, architecture, philosophy, and science. These advancements helped them to spread their culture to many different places in the Mediterranean areas.
  • Greek Development 
  • The Persian wars were very significant to greek culture, being forced to work together made the Greek city-states start to define themselves as just greeks. The new Greek alliance allowed for a much stronger impact on other civilizations.
  • Significance of the Persian Wars
  • The Golden Age Of Athens
  • The Golden age happened after the Persian war, Athens became capitol over the newly united Greece and it was a time of success for greek culture. The golden age of Athens introduced many key factors to Greek society like Socrates and the Parthenon.
  • Impact of Peloponnesian War
  • The ongoing conflict between Sparta and Athens over power and resources left Greece in the hands of Sparta. This led to many struggles for Greece and left them in a vulnerable state.
  • Phillip ii united the Greek city-states and his son, Alexander conquered the Persian empire, allowing him to control parts of Europe, Africa, and Asia.
  • Alexander The Great
  • This was brought on by Alexander the great after his empire was created. he went to tons of other civilizations implementing greek culture everywhere he went. All of the advancements in technology, art and philosophy were being spread everywhere.
