Storyboard Text

  • Daedalus and Icarus, you have been requested to come to king Menos' castle
  • Exposition
  • I will join him, but what does he need me for?
  • Rising Action
  • You see, I need you to build me a maze. I will pay you for yourn work!
  • Fair enough, I accept your request.
  • Rising Action
  • W-what?! No! This can't be! Please let us go back home!
  • Since you know the secrets of this maze... I will be holding you and your son as prisoners.
  • Daedalus and his son, Icarus, have been asked to join king Menos in a meeting discussing something Menos wants done.
  • Climax
  • Father, are you sure this will work?
  • Menos asks Daedalus to build a special maze for a certain creature. Daedalus accepts the build request and began to work.
  • Falling Action
  • It worked! We're flying!!!
  • Soon after finishing the maze, Daedalus was informed that Icarus and himself were going to be kept as prisoners in Menos' castle.
  • Resolution
  • Daedalus works on his invention of wings that will enable human flight, the wings are made from bird's feathers and melted wax to hold it together
  • Icarus! This may sound crazy, but we are going to fly our way out of here!
  • Daedalus and Icarus set off on thier journey back home, Daedalus reminds Icarus to not fly too high or too low.
  • Don't fly too close to the sun or too close to the ground Icarus!
  • In The end, Icarus plummeted to his death and Daedalus was devastated. Becoming free came at a cost.
  • NO MY SON! I curse you skies! I curse you sea! You have killed my son!
