Hello everyone, My name is Charlemagne Tiendrebeogo; I live in Staten Island, the forgotten borough of New York City. I am originally from Burkina Faso, a small country in West Africa colonized by France. Prior to coming to New York, I studied Theology and French Modern Literature. I love any kind of music, and I play seven different instruments including the piano, the guitar, the flute, the drums, the "African-djembe" etc. Also I am fortunate to be able to speak five languages including French and German among others.
My Past and My Present

My Future and my Dreams
I currently work for the Mayor's Office of Contract Services. This is my last semester in the pursuance of my B.A in Urban and Community studies at The Murphy Institute (CUNY SPS). I intend to continue school in years to come to get a degree in International Relations and be able to work for the United Nations, my dream job. It’s a pleasure to meet you all as classmates and have Professor Hien as an experienced guide.
