6.30pm: time for sleep Matilda, but you keep crying. You're fed, bathed, you have had your bottle, but still you won't sleep. Mummy's so tired!!!!
Yes, finally! Took forever, then I had to pack for care tomorrow, she needs so much stuff!

She is kept awake until signs of reduced inflammation are evident. 3-4am: Matilda experiences a "nappy explosion," soiling everything she was wearing and the bed linen. 4-6am: Matilda sleeps in bed with Sarah and Tom. She is restless, keeping them both from sleeping deeply.
