  • The ghost appears three times that night and beckons Hamlet to follow alone. 1.1
  • Hamlet follows alone and the ghost speaks to him telling him to take revenge on king Claudius for killing king Hamlet but tells young Hamlet to not touch Gertrude. 1.5
  • Hamlet goes into the room that king Claudius was in and was going to stab him and kill him for revenge because king Hamlet told him to.
