  • Tim Macbeth as a Tragic Hero Using Aristotle's 6 Principles
  • Hamartia: The flaw that causes the downfall
  • Tim's eyes hurt him, because he was to vain to wear his glasses in public.
  • Hubris: Extreme Pride
  • Tim sets alone at lunch because he think no one wants to be his friend because he is albino.
  • Peripeteia: Reversal of fortune
  • Tim and Vanessa meet at the airport and they later spend the night in a hotel.
  • Anagnorisis: When the hero makes a critical discovery
  • My whole world revolves around me being albino. Hrm.
  • Nemesis: Fate that cannot be reversed
  • Sadly, Tim is blind forever...
  • Catharsis: Tone (Pity or Fear) the audience is left with after the hero's fall
  • Tim records the CDs for Duncan. This is a type of catharsis.
