Storyboard Text

  • Hi I am Eliza and I work at the coffeehouse on 1st street. I am one of the cookers at the coffeehouse. I work with the owner's daughter named Matilda but I call her Mattie and the owners name is Lucille and the grandfather is here too.
  • When Mattie and Grandfather had left to get away from the fever. I decided to take care of Lucille because she came down with the sickness.
  • I don't feel good.
  • After helping Lucille I was taking care of others and going to others house's. The government says that African Americans cannot get sick its called free African american society.
  • When the frost came I new that there was hope that the epidemic was over.
  • Coffeehouse
  • Hello citizens of Philadelphia. I'm back everybody
  • So if George Washington is coming back then that means that the fever is over and everything is back to normal
  • I learned that thinking positive in this situation and never giving up is a good thing to have because when there is a disease going around it is good to help people because maybe something good will come back to you.
