  • Ok calss i will be grading your storyboards about buddhism

  • Princes birth- later after the mothers dream she had a son but something was different when he was born the mother and baby were rainded with flowers and her looked older then a baby and could walk and talk.
  • Mothers Dream. Before Siddharthas mother had a dream about having a son who would be a great ruler but when he found out about the suffering outside of the castle he would no longer want to be the ruler
  • Prince Siddhartha's father was worried about his mothers dream so he made sure that the prince never saw the suffering of people outside the palace
  • When he was 16 he got married to a beautiful young noblewomen. When he was 29 they had a son
  • When the king had a child his father let him leave the palace. When he got there he noticed the suffering of the people and wanted to help them. Then he went out another time and meet a man who was a ascetic a person who gives up worldly pleasures such as fine clothes money and even shelter. he said he found peace by helping others find peace
  • The Prince started a new life to help others in his kingdom. He went to the forest got his sword cut his hair and leftt his and put on a simple robe and only a small bowl of goods and money. The ascetics also denied many basic needs like they stayed up all night. They sat in hot sun with no shelter.
  • Later he learned he did not like the life of a ascetic and he didnt want to be a king eaither so he took a third path. He become a on Siddhartha's 35th birthday. He bathed in the river and rested quietly in a grove of trees. When he awoke, he had a strong feeling that he would soon become enlightened. that was when he decided to become a buddha. Buddhas are people would spend the rest of his life sharing these truths with the people of India.
