Hello! Welcome to Mohenjo-Daro! We are city on the banks of the Indus river. We were here for 200 years. We left in around 1900 B.C
In Mohenjo-Daro we live in clay homes. The clay is formed into bricks then baked. We have bathrooms in our houses. We also have flat roof that we use as an extra room.
We also had pets. Monkeys were common among children.
We also value keeping clean. We have bathrooms in our houses with plumbing that leads to the street.
In the middle of our city there is a great bath. We use it for religious purposes like purification.
Trade is very important to us. We trade with other countries for things we need. We use seals like a label to show who owns the item on things we trade.
Thank you for visiting our city! We hope you visit soon!
