Brian craved meat all the time, he thought about meat in the night. Brian also thought about his mom's roast often.
Brian could never seem to see the fool birds. Whenever Brian tried to shoot one he missed.
Instead of looking for the fool bird’s color Brian started looking for their shape. With the bow at first Brian couldn’t seem to get the fool birds but then he got his fish spear. Then Brian got his first meat with the fish spear.
Brian had to skin the fool bird and take all the guts out. Brian had never taken the skin and all the guts out of a bird. Then Brian got the hang of it and took all the guts out and all the skin off.
Brian put the bird over the fire for a good amount of time but the meat still was raw but the outside was crispy and looked ready.
Brian learned how to cook the fool bird perfectly, he would have to cook off to the side or it would catch on fire. After a while when the outside was very crispy Brian took a bite of his first meat and it tasted wonderful.
