  • The Election of 1824 and 1828
  • Vote Andrew Jackson!
  • Vote Henry Clay!
  • Vote John Quincy Adams!
  • Election of 1824
  • None of our candidates have won by majority vote.
  • It's our job as the House of Representatives to decide the next president.
  • The "Corrupt Bargain"
  • I can use my influence to make the House of Representatives to make you president, and then you can make me Secretary of State.
  • It's a deal!
  • Andrew Jackson, Henry Clay, and John Quincy Adams are all running as candidates for president.
  • Adam's Presidency
  • You'll make a terrible president!
  • I should of never of made that deal with Clay.
  • Jackson had the most votes, but none of the candidates won by majority, so The House of Representatives gets to decide the president.
  • Election of 1828
  • Are you voting for Jackson or Adams?
  • I'm voting for Jackson.
  • Clay makes a deal with Adams, where Clay convinced Congress to make Adams president, and in return Adams appointed Clay as Secretary of State.
  • Jackson Becomes President
  • Congratulations on becoming president, Mr. Jackson!
  • Jackson's followers become angry with Clay and Adam's "Corrupt Bargain," making Adam's presidency very unsuccessful, and also leading to the creation of the political parties, the democrats, and the republicans.
  • The next election is held, and Jackson, who represents the Democratic party, runs against Adams, who represents the republican party.
  • Jackson beats Adams by a landslide.
