I am the god of the sea!
The Greeks believed in different gods that represented different things in life/nature.
One example of a god is Poseidon, the god of the sea.
Greek Literature is still very important and we often find ourselves using things that came from the Greeks.
One part of Greek literature was fables. These are stories that teach a lesson about life or gives advice. Of the most famous writers is Aesop.
Greece had many intelligent philosophers. They believed in using the mind and its itelligence to answer questions.
One of those philosophers is Socrates. He questioned why things happened. Socrates was put to death because he questioned the existence of the gods.
