  • The council in Upper Canada made the decisions about the colony's affairs and advised the governor.
  • I am the governor and I give directions to the council. I also appoint the Council, however I am appointed by Britain.
  • I am a British voter and I vote in the assembly. The assembly does not have much power however, they do advise the council.
  • Colonial Government
  • I want democracy because I'm a voter and I have no say in government. The Governor is manipulating our elections and making his most favored party win!
  • I'm part of the Assembly and I STILL don't have power, all I do is advise the council!
  • Upper Canada
  • At the elections, fights would commonly happen because Candien voters wanted more power.
  • At an election...
  • What's the point in voting if we are voting people in with no power?
