Consumer Product Safety
The Consumer Product Law establishes minimum product safety standards on products. If a product found to be defective, the Consumer Product Safety Commission has the authority to force the manufacturers to recall the products.
This law affects the consumer of any product in a company. It is important because these recalls will help the consumer of the product with safety and will be provided with refunds to help with money and prices on the customer.
Recalling products has been used in many companies because of the Consumer Product Law. Some examples of companies recalling products are car companies taking back the vehicle to fix and repairments needed before it goes out on the roadways. Another example is on drinking cups. When infants drink out of cups, sometimes companies recall this product to guarantee more safety to the children to protect them and to prevent choking of any kind.
