  • Narrator worked for a old man. He did not like the old mans eyes because they looked like vulture eyes and followed him where ever he walked. He decided he had to do something about him.
  • Exposition
  • The conflict of this story is between the old man and the narrator. The narrator does not like old mans eyes and decides to kill him. Narrator watches the old man sleep waiting for the right time.
  • Conflict
  • One night while the Narrator is watching the old man sleep the narrator makes a sound.The old man hears him and wakes up. The old man asks who is there and they still in silence for a long time.
  • Rising Action
  • Narrator jumps on the old man and stuffs his face with his mattress. He stays in that position until the old man cant breath anymore and dies.
  • Climax
  • Narrator stuffs the body under boards under the floor. A neighbor heard a scream and called the police.
  • Falling Action
  • Narrator invites the police in the house and sit right over the body. The narrator ¨feels and hears the heartbeat¨ of the dead man and turns himself in.
  • Resolution
