- There was a grenade thrown at his car but he jumped back and was uninjured he went to the capital building and was persuaded to leave the city they took the shortest route out but they slowed for one turn there was Princip waiting as they slowed he steped to the curb
- As the car came to an abreast stop he drew his pistol and fired one shot at his wife hitting in the abdomen and the second shot hit Archduke next to the heart they both died almost instantly the police hit Princlip over the head tortured him but didnt kill him
