  • "the laden matress ,oved irregulary down the pool. A small gust of wind that scarcely corrugated the surface was enough to disturb the acciental course of its accidental burden". (Fitzgerald 162)
  • Gatsby shows no morality becuase of his side job. His side job is that he is a bootlegger. Gatsby works with a man named, Wolfsheim, where they run an illigeal business. Gatsby became rich not in the right way and not for the right reasons. Gatsby is a criminal by selling alchol since it was illegal in the 1920's.
  • Tom and Myrtle shown no morality by having an affair. Tom is married to Daisy and Myrtle is married to George, so they are both cheating on their spouces. The only reason Myrtle is in love with Tom is because of his money. She dreams of being rich, living in east egg, and being high on the social levels. Tom only likes Myrtle because she is the exact opposite of Daisy.
  • George Wilson shows no morality when he kills Gatsby, then himself. George let his emotions over take him after the death of his wife, Myrtle. He thought that Gatsby had killed Myrtle, but really Daisy had killed her. George killed the wrong person and killed Gatsby out of anger. George had gone insane and was not in the right midset when he killed Gatsby. George shows no morals because he killed an innocent man.
