Storyboard Text

  • 4.5.9-10
  • 4.1.45-48
  • O shut the door! And when thou hast done so, Come weep with me, Past hope, Past cure, Past help.
  • 4.4.26
  • Go waken Juliet and trim her up.
  • I'm in a house of tears
  • In scene 5 of act 4 the nurse says"I must needs wake her. Madam, madam, madam" (4.5.9-10). Meaning that she must wake Juliet up for the wedding.
  • (4.2.12)
  • This quote defines her tone as distraught with everything that is going on around her from Romeo being banished. Being forced to marry Paris. And her father threatening to kick her out of the house.
  • (3.1.44)
  • O calm, dishonorable vile submission.
  • Act 4 scene 4 contains dramatic irony. The Capulets are getting ready for the wedding. The audience knows though that Juliet is faking her death to see Romeo.
  • Dramatic Irony
  • In act 4 scene 2. Juliet states she is in a house of tears. This is a metaphor.
  • I blame Mercutio (right) for all of the recent events. I blame him because he brought himself into the whole dispute with Romeo and Tybalt. This caused Romeo to kill Tybalt in rage and get himself banished.
