  • The Age of Reason/Enlightenment took place in the 17th Century.
  • Sir we have a problem!
  • The Enlightened Comic Strip.
  • GOTTA BLAST!
  • BOOM!

  • Anyways continuing my work. The enlightenment was also known as "The age of reason".
  • I made it here as fast as I could! Did David do something again!?
  • All the men in this mansion are scientists while the woman are philosophers.
  • Earlier philosophers whose work influenced the Enlightenment included Francis Bacon, René Descartes, John Locke, and Baruch Spinoza. The major figures of the Enlightenment included Cesare Beccaria, Voltaire, Denis Diderot, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, David Hume, Adam Smith, and Immanuel Kant. Four Major events of the enlightenment were: Thirty Years’ War It was a huge destructive war. A lot of people became interested in scientific study. Romanticism began. Prevailing principles of the Enlightenment was skepticism.

  • Oh Well i need to get back to work and figure out what the age of reason is. I think it means this "any period in history, especially the 18th century in France, England, etc., characterized by a critical approach to religious, social, and philosophical matters that seeks to repudiate beliefs or systems not based on or justifiable by reason."- History.com. If i'm correct. Now there is some terms other I don't understand.
  • I don't understand these words monarchs, Social reformer, Declaration of the rights of man and citizen (Found in: The impact of the enlightenment on the government), and Religious tolerance.

  • 1. a sovereign head of state, especially a king, queen, or emperor. 2. A social reformer is anyone who advocates for reform of a certain area of society. 3. It's a fundamental document of the French Revolution and in the history of human and civil rights. 4.Religious toleration is when people allow other people to think or practice other religions and beliefs.
