But when they returned there land was for sale and they were told they couldn't buy it back because they were indians.
For several years the two travelled fighting for indian rights.
So she travelled to england to discuss the disagreement and why they deserved there own land. For many years she argued with europeans for rights for her people.
She passed away 1865 and Is a hugely influential person and will be remembered as an important member in canadian history.
