  • After being sent off of Argos, Perseus and his mother Danaë safely arrive in Seriphos in a chest. The king of Seriphos, Polydects, instantly taking an interest in Danaë. Polydectes invites Danaë and Perseus, to live with him in his castle.
  • Meeting with the Mentor
  • Growing up over the years, Perseus grew a strong hatred for the King. But once Perseus became a man, Polydects declared his love for Danaë, and demanded marriage.
  • Crossing the Thresold
  • Perseus spent days pondering about what gift he'd get his mother, until the King gives him the idea of getting Medusa's head. Polydects thought this would be a suicide mission- and that Perseus would never return. The King kept that thought to himself though.
  • Myth's Intro
  • Perseus comes across Pegasus, who he travels on, to the island at the end of the world... Medusa's home.
  • Perseus travels for days with Pegasus though the caves of Medusa's island, being unsuccessful of finding her- until he comes across a cave, withholding a sleeping Medusa.
  • The God Hermes, delivers a prophecy to King Acrisius of Argos, telling him his own grandson will one day kill him. The only possible way of having grandson was through his daughter, Danaë. He locks her up, until Zeus one day finds her, and they have their son, Perseus.
