  • EXPOSITION
  • "It's stopping, It's stopping" "Yes, Yes"
  • "Do the scientists really know? will it happen today, will it?"
  • CONFLICT
  • "Aw, you didn't write that!"
  • "I think the sun is a flower, that blooms for just one hour"
  • RISING ACTION
  • "Hey, everyone, let's put her in the closet before the teacher comes"
  • "No" (Margot)
  • The students all get to their school. Margot is very excited to see the sun again. Margot keeps herself distanced from the others.
  • CLIMAX
  • 'Much, much better!"
  • William gets very angry at Margot because he thinks she's a show off. William tells Margot the sun won't come out. William and the other students tease Margot.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • "Margot, She's still in the closet where we left her"
  • William locks Margot in the closet and the other students do nothing about it. Margot bangs on the door but they don't let her out. The sun starts coming out so the students walk away from the closet and head outside.
  • RESOLUTION
  • The sun comes out and all the kids go play, not realizing William left Margot in the closet. they run around and play and pick flowers. It starts raining again, and they realize Margot is still in the closet.
  • "Oh, It's better than the sun lamps isn't it?"
  • William lets Margot out, Margot is very upset with William for leaving her in the closet and making her miss the sun. William feels absolutely terrible. Margot is rude to William because she is so mad and upset.
  • Margot goes outside, crying as she sees that the sun really is gone. William and the other students give her the flowers they picked while the sun was out. William is very sorry for the mistake he made.
