The woman looked at the fruit and saw it was pleasing to the eye. She took some of the fruit and ate it and gave some to her husband and he ate it.
After they ate the fruit their eyes were opened and noticed they were naked. They sewed sew leaves together and made loincloths for themselves.
They heard God coming and hid themselves. God asked where they were and the man replies and says he heard him in the garden so he hid because he was naked.
God asked who told them they were naked and if they ate from the tree. The man blames it on the woman and says that he ate it because she gave it to him. The woman blames it on the snake and says it tricked her.
God tells the snake that it is cursed among all animals, tame or wild on its belly it shall crawl and dust it shall eat all the days of it's life. That there will be enmity between it and the woman and between their off springs.
To the woman God says that he will intensify childbearing and that her urge will be for her husband to rule over her. To the man he said "Cursed is the ground because of you! In toil you shall eat its yield all the days of your life..." The man named his wife Eve and God finally says that man now knows good and evil and banishes them from the garden.
