The context for the story is:
Mother Nature was once in a relationship with Captain Carbon, an abusive one. Mother Nature had enough of him so she left him for Father Nature. Captain Carbon went from going big to becoming small, and left weak and alone. Father Nature helped Mother Nature go back to normal, and made her more beautiful. Along with that, he gave her the ability of human life.
They decided that humans could feed Mother Nature and Father Nature, however Captain Carbon made it so that they could also fuel him. As Mother Nature and Father Nature saw the evolution of humans, and the amount of fuel they gave them, especially to Father Nature. Although they damaged Mother Nature a bit, she didn't really mind. However, as time went on, oblivious to Captain Carbon's edit, the humans started wounding Mother Nature, in fact, they started fueling Captain Carbon.
Captain Carbon was now big and strong, and decided to build his boat and make shelter in a cave. He traveled, to defeat Father Nature and abuse Mother Nature once again. This time, he was as strong as them, if not stronger.
Then they noticed that humans weren't believing in Father Nature, damaging him. In fact, some of them hated him. Then they noticed that some humans were spreading lies to millions, and now he was being hurt. They're abuse to Mother Nature grew worse too, but then Captain Carbon comes in and begins to fight them. They realize...the humans were fueling him too. Captain Carbon fights Father Nature, but while Father Nature is wounded, he still has a few tricks up his sleeves. He thinks of what to do, and then asks Mother Nature to reverse Captain Carbon's edit, and to do something else with his help. Mother Nature complies.
Cue the deaths of hundreds and thousands of humans.
Now Captain Carbon was weakened, and both parts of Nature were stronger. They still had to fight, and the fight went on.
