Peripeteia: His prophecy was that he was supposed to die when his parents bind his feet and left him on the hillside to die.
Catharsis: The audience feel sorry for him when we find out his prophecy and that he was doomed from the beginning.
Harmatia: He is in denial that he is adopted, so he leaves Corinth and goes to the Delphi who tells him that he will lie with his mother and kill his father.
Hubris: Because of this information he leaves Corinth and goes to Thebes, thinking that he would be protecting his parents.
Anagnorisis: Oedipus discovers that his real parents are the former king of Thebes and his current wife.
OH MY GOD THEY ARE MY PARENTS!!!!
Nemesis: After finding out the truth he realizes that he did kill his father and he did lie with his mother.
