From the half empty, half full concept, CADECOM identified Doney's skill of reading and writing, although she didn't finish school. She is now teaching these skills to others in her community.

Through the program she has learnt many vital skills such as how to farm efficiently to feed her family with a balanced diet and enough nutrition.
A group called the CADECOM Village Savings and Loans Association has also helped Doney buy material for her husband Nedson to sew. Therefore, she can sell the products to send her children to school.
CADECOM also had to fix the problem of unsafe drinking water and did it by building a water pump that exerts clean water for washing, drinking and cooking.
After CADECOM's support, people like Doney are able to use their skills they have learnt and teach it to others to create brighter futures and lives.
Caritas have really changed people's lives all over the world by providing them with support new life changing skills and a focus and goal they want to achieve. This year, in Malawi, they have visited and made an impact in 15 different communities.
