Storyboard Text

  • I can't seem to remember the Quadratic Equation. I can't remember anything about it.
  • Hey, i'll help you memorize the quadratic equation.
  • Really? Thank you so much for helping me.
  • It always starts with x=, so that's a relatively easy part.
  • Alright, what's next?
  • Next is -b, which is the opposite of the b value in a standard equation. Next come the tricky part.
  • Yes, it means that you have to add and subtract what comes next to find both equations.
  • Isn't it the the sign that's like the plus sign over the minus sign?
  • It's not really that difficult, just a lot of math involved.
  • Next is the square root of b squared minus four a c. Then divide all of that by two a.
  • That... sounds hard.
  • So, basically you square b, subtract 4 time a times c, square root b squared minis 4ac, then add to or subtract from the negative b at the beginning and then divide that by the 2 a at the bottom.
  • Again. thank you so much for helping me. I had always struggled with memorizing it.
