  • This is a story of a husband's love, a great mistake, and an ironic ending.
  • Mme. Loisel needs money to look good in front of the other women. M. Loisel wants the money to buy a new gun. They are at a big disagreement.
  • I'll go out to find it.
  • It's gone! It's gone forever!
  • Mme. Loisel goes to Mme. Forestier's house to look for a necklace that would suit her for the party.
  • It was only 500 francs!!!
  • Mme. Loizel goes to the party and everyone loves how she looks. Even though she is poor, she looks just like one of the rich women. 
  • Mme. Loisel loses the necklace after the ball, and her husband tries to find it.
  • Mme. Loisel is told by Mme. Forestier that the diamond necklace was a fake, and she wasted all her money on nothing. The End.
