King Midas lived in a very great palace and he was extremely rich and his dream was to be the richest man alive.
One day King Midas was with his friend SIlenus, and he was good friends with the god Dionysus
Because King Midas knew that SIlenus was friends with Dionysus he decided to invite him to his palace
He treated Silenus with kindness. Dionysus saw how kind King Midas was being and gave him one wish. King Midas chose to have everything that he touched turned to gold.
He loved it, he was very wealthy. But because everything he touched turn to gold he could not eat anything. King Midas begged Dionysus to lift the Curse.
Dionysus told King Midas that the only way to lift their curse was to bath in the great river. So he went to the great river but he turn the river to gold and died along with the river.
