Mr and Mrs Waldorf were sitting by their warm, cozy fire until all the sudden...
...The fireplace got out of control and set the whole house on fire!
Mr Waldorf was severely burned by the fire. His skin was dry and leathery, and was of the color brown. Mr Waldorf said it didn't hurt that bad, which worried the paramedics. When a 3rd degree burn is formed, it destroys nerve endings, causing Mr Waldorf to not feel pain.
Ehh, doesn't hurt that bad.
The hospital is the best place you should go to treat a 3rd degree burn. They can give you the proper treatment you need, and can give you a fast recovery.
Yep, you have a 3rd degree burn. It's a good thing you were brought to the hospital!
A skin graft is used to permanently replace damaged skin or to provide a temporary wound covering. This covering is necessary because the skin protects the body.
In order for his skin to recover and for him to be as good as new, I think we need to do a skin graft.
What do you think the best treatment for Mr Waldorf is?
Congratulations Mr Waldorf! Your skin graft surgery was successful and you will be as good as new in no time!
