  • The Golden Apple
  • "I choose Aphrodite to have the apple"

  • Eris didn't get invited to King Peleus and his wife's wedding party and became enraged. Eris appeared, left a golden apple, and then left. Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite all wanted the apple badly. They asked a prince named Paris to decide who should have it. They all offered him gifts if they would choose him. He chose Aphrodite because she offered him a wife as beautiful as her.
  • Single Combat
  • "Paris you have to fight in the battles"
  • Menelaus came back to find that his wife Helen has went away with Paris. Aphrodite had fulfilled her promise to Paris. Achilles had been born from King Peleus and Thetis. He is dipped in the River Styx because the gods promised he wouldn't die in battle if they did this. His heel is what they held him by so it was not dipped. Achilles is hidden so he will be protected from the war, but he ends up going home and getting him ships together to go fight.
  • The Women of Troy
  • They arrived on the beach and battled for nine years, and they became extremely tired. The Greeks one victory in which Achilles led them to victory, and they received Chryseis and Briseis. Agamemnon took Chryseis and Achilles got Briseis. Agamemnon was later told by Apollo to give up one of the women, so he made Achilles to give up briseis after they had formed a close bond.
  • The High King's Embassy
  • Zues gives a dream to Agamemnon that the Greeks would win the war. Paris challenges any Greek to a fight for Helen. Menelaus accepts the challenge, but Paris get scared and backs out of the challenge. Paris’s brother Hector tries to get him to fight and Helen tells him that it is shameful for her to have to talk her husband into fighting. Aphrodite makes her forget all about the fighting to keep her promise to Paris.
  • "Paris you have to fight in the battles"
  • Pandarus wounded Menelaus, who many wanted dead, in a huge battle that both sides engaged in. Paris is too scared to take part in the battle. Hector tries to talk to Paris to try to get him to battle. Before going back into battle, Hector goes to his wife and tells her goodbye with them both knowing that it would be the last time they saw each other.
  • "I have to fight I can't just stay here"
  • Paris and Hector went back into battle. Ajax and Hector battle, but no harm is done and they exchange gifts. The Trojans begin to take power in the war and Agamemnon is convinced the only way they can win is by getting Achilles back. They offer Achilles Briseis and other nice possessions to come back but he doesn’t accept as he is still angry.
  • "Achilles you have to come back"
