  • John Wilkes Booth sits at the bar and drinks as he prepares himself to assassinate the president in Fords theater. Boothes plan was to shoot the presitednt during the part of the play where there was a big boom. Booth leaves the bar at 10pm and walks through the ally way to Fords Theater.

  • Booth walks from the bar to the theater, where he found the presidents box unguarded.
  • ASSASSINATION
  • Booth gets into presidents Lincolns private box, when he is in there he pulls out a .44 caliber single shot derringer and fires a shot into Lincolns head
  • ASSASSINATION
  • Booth plans the shot to be fired in a part of the play where there is a big boom so he would not be noticed
  • THE ESCAPE
  • Booth jumps from the box and brakes his leg, he runs out of the back exit of the theater and makes his get away on a horse that was staged out back behind the theater.
  • THE ESCAPE
  • Booth flees from the theater before anyone can catch him
