This storyboard does not have a description.
Doug goes to Mr. Ballard's office to get the baseball and money that he won...
Excuse me, Is Mr. Ballard Here?
Yes! Come right into his office!
Mr. Ballard tells Doug that he already gave the ball and money to his father...
Don't you already have the baseball and the money???
Doug is surprised and realizes that his father probably took the ball and money for himself...
Mr. Ballard takes Doug outside and show him how to throw horse shoes.
You must have the correct form and release the horseshoe at the correct time
Mr. Ballard tells Doug that he could come back any time to throw horseshoes
Thank you so much Mr. Ballard!
I chose to portray this scene because I think that this scene is crucial for whats to come in the next few chapters. Although it may not seem like a lot, the fact that Doug's father took the baseball and money and didn't give it to Doug is a big deal. I think that if I showed this specific scene in a comic strip, it would really help me visualize it better so that I could see what is going on in Doug's life at this moment in time.
