Storyboard Text

  • Friar Lawrence's cell
  • On Thursday, sir? The time is very short.
  • Father Capulet wants to hurry the marriage, so that Juliet may stop her weeping.
  • Yes, on Thursday, Juliet and I shall be married.
  • You will be mine and we will be married on Thursday.
  • Till then adieu!
  • O shut the door Friar Lawrence, come weep with me!
  • I will take this knife and end this woeful time. I long to die!
  • Hold, daughter, I see a ray of hope.
  • Take thou this vial, being in bed. Like death you shall sleep for two and forty hours.
  • And then awake as from a pleasant sleep. Romeo and I will watch thy waking.
  • This shall free thee from this present shame.
  • I will do it without fear or doubt, to live an unstained wife to my sweet love.
  • Hold, get you gone, be strong and prosperous in this reslove;
  • Give me, give me! O tell not me of fear.
  • Love give me strength, and strength shall help afford. Farewell, dear father.
  • I'll send a friar with speed to Mantua, with my letters to thy lord.
  • Exeunt
