Odysseus had traveled around and seen many strange lands. Until once he had run into a land of Ogres giant men who dependeds on their herds and had only a single eye
They had tried runnning away but the ogre blocked the caves entrance with a rock and to prove his strength he ate 2 of the soldiers
After a while the Ogre kept eating 2 men at a time, but Odysseus's and his men gave the ogre some wine in which he drank and fell asleep. Odysseus found a long stake and plunged it into the ogres eyes, the next day, Odysseus and his man hid behind the sheep and since the ogre couldnt see he led his sheep out and Odysseus managed to escape. But little did they know that Cyclops was Poseidon's son, so when Odysseus ventured out they had to bear Poseidons wrath throught their journey.
Odysseus came to the island of Aelous the wind god, for a month Aelous had entertained Odysseus and his company but when odysseus asked him if he could send him home, Aelous gave him a sheepskin bag trapped withen all the winds except the west wind, but when Odysseus was near his home he saw his people on his shore, during his sleep his men opened the sheepskin bag and all the winds broke out and a storm raged on and sent them back to Aelous and then he refused to help them
