By chelseaebinum, Updated
This storyboard does not have a description.
In order to create an objective summary for a non-fiction text you need to first name it by label the text. You need to know if it is a passage, article, or paragraph. For example "In the passage".
Second you need to verb it.First ask yourself "what does the text do for you".Does it discuss ,inform ,entertain, teach, state question, argue,or position ? Then you state what it does.
Third you need to Find the central idea and supporting details. When You are looking for the central idea you need to search for repeated ideas and words.
Lastly, you need to put it all together. When I say put it all together I mean, put all the information you gathered while doing the first 3 steps and including facts not opinions.
