Amulius believed that if Rhea Silvia would not fall in love, and get married in the temple of Mars, therefore she would not have kids and no one would be able to take his throne. But his plan didn't work out...As Mars had fallen in love with Rhea.
The news that Mars and Rhea got married and had to children traveled to the king, and Amulius told his guards to drown the newborns, whilst the family was sleeping.
But again the kings words and thoughts were not traveled out well, as the guards to let the babies in their cradles instead of drowning them instantly.
But a shewolf discovered the two infants, and her motherly instincts made her take care for the two infants for a short time.
The guards put the babies on the river, expecting them to drown the left them there, and informed the king that they were dead,
Because sooner or later a shepherd would find them and raise them big and strong.

Soon their grandfather, Numitor, finds out about his two grandsons as they share their story with their grandfather. Numitor tells the twins to go kill his brother Amulius to gain his throne. After some planing the twins have a plan and helps their grandfather get his throne back.
To celebrate their victory, Romulus and Remus create a village near the river where they were found. And soon the village grows bigger and bigger. But conflict arises...they cannot decide on a name to call their city.
Romulus wants to call it Rome, whilst Remus wants to call it Rem... The argument last so long that one of the brothers lie dead... Rem loses and Rome is officially called Rome.
