Storyboard Text

  • Bring me the flower that Cupid's arrow once fell upon.
  • I can go around the world in forty minutes. I will bring you the flower, Oberon.
  • I will take half of the flower and put it on Titania, you take the other half and rub it on the eyes of a young man who is pursued by a sweet athenian lady.
  • As you wish, my King.
  • This must be the guy that rejected the Athenian girl. I throw all the power of magic charm on your eyes.
  • Oberon is angry at Titania for not giving him the small Indian boy that she "stole". Oberon decides to get revenge on the fairy queen by sending Puck to go and retrieve a flower that will make her fall in love with the first thing she sees once she opens her eyes.
  • Did you rub the love juice on the eyes of that Athenian?
  • Step aside, here they come now.
  • Yes, I did. The girl was lying next to him so he must have seen her.
  • Puck returns to King Oberon with Cupid's flower. Oberon takes half of the juice from the flower and gives Puck the other half. Oberon tells Puck that he will take care of Queen Titania and sends Puck to go around in the forest until he finds Helena and Demetrius. He tells puck to rub the juice on the eyes of Demetrius so he will fall in love with Helena.
  • You have made a mistake Puck, this is not the Athenian girl I spoke of. You must fix this problem.
  • This is not amusing at all. There is a lovesick Helena somewhere, you must fix this. Now.
  • It must be fate that this happened, it is very amusing.
  • After traveling all throughout the forest, Puck comes across what he thought was the two people that Oberon had sent him after. Puck proceeds to rub the flower's juice on who he thought to be Demetrius, but it was actually Lysander along with Hermia.
  • When you wake you will be truly delighted to see the woman you once loved.
  • Puck reports back to Oberon with the news of his successful mission. Just as he is telling Oberon about his success, Demetrius and Hermia are walking towards them.
  • After Hermia and Demetrius exit, Oberon realizes that Puck has made a big mistake. Puck finds it very amusing, but Oberon insists that Puck must make right what he has done wrong.
  • Since Demetrius and Lysander were already fighting, Puck had devised a plan to fix the problem that he had created. Puck ran around the woods luring both Demetrius and Lysander around in the other's voice until they became too tired and fell asleep. Puck puts the love juice on Lysander so he would wake up and love Hermia again.
