  • "The Mississippi River." For Huck and Jim the Mississippi River is a symbol of freedom. On the raft they do not have to answer to anyone and the river carries them towards freedom. For Jim, towards the free states and for Huck away from his abusive father.
  • Friendship
  • This symbolizes the money that Huck has.
  • Education
  • The map stands for the adventure that Huck and Jim and Tom Sawyer go through during the story "Huckleberry Finn."
  • Freedom Letter.
  • In the story Huckleberry Finn, there is a great amount of friendship between Huck Finn and Jim.
  • This is an example of the education that Huck tries to fight for. Out of all things Huck just wants an education but his dad refuses for him to have any better than what he has.
  • The symbol for the letter is the letter is proof that Huck is finally free.
