As the German advanced, 340,000 allied soldiers were pushed back to the beaches of Dunkirk in Northern France. 800 Britain boats rescued the troops.
The Battle of Britain: The Nazis attempted to invade England by boat, before they could do this they had to take over the sky. This was unsuccessful and the British were ableto prevent the Nazis.
New Battlefields: The Germans made an alliance with the Italians, with this ally Germany was able to take more land from Britain. The British retaliated with an air attack, but were forced back by the combined forces of Italy and Germany
The German army betrayed the Russians and began to invade Russia. The Germans original tactic didn't work due to the different terrain. They were slowed by heavy rainfall, and altogether stopped by the Russian winter.
