  • Bunker Hill - 1775
  • 'Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes!'
  • Trenton - 1776
  • This book by Thomas Paine says 'The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in the crisis, shrink from the service of their country.'
  • Saratoga - 1777
  • Benedict Arnold is riding 'like a madman'!
  • The Battle of Bunker Hill was during June 1775 in Massachusets. One of the people who fought in it was Colonel William Prescott, who said the quote above. The British won.
  • Camden - 1780
  • The Battle of Trenton was on December 25th, 1776 in New Jersey. George Washington fought in it. His side (the Americans) won.
  • Charlestown - 1780
  • The Battle of Saratoga was on October 7th, 1777 in New York. The Battle focused on the surrender of Burgyone. The Americans won.
  • Battle of Yorktown - 1781
  • It is all over!
  • The Battle of Camden was fought during August 1780. Gates and Kalb fought in it. "When the British attacked, the militia [American] panicked and ran" (Page #207). The British won.
  • The Battle of Charlestown, was fought during August 1780. "Marion used the methods of a guerrilla" (Page #207). Marion fought in it. The Americans won.
  • The Battle of Yorktown was fought on October 19th, 1781. George Washington fought in it, Cornwallis (British) surrendered. Lord North shouts, "It is all over" (North). This was the last battle of the war, and the Americans won.
