  • The Lord speaks with Sarah
  • Sarah, i will bare you a son
  • Thankyou my Lord!
  • Sarah tells Abraham
  • That is great news!
  • Abraham!, I have spoken with the Lord and i will bare you a son!
  • The birth of Isaac
  • i have bore you a son in your old age
  • we shall call him Isaac.
  • Sarah discusses with the Lord and he agrees to gift Sarah with a son. This is important because Isaac will be their first born son
  • The Lord tells Abraham to sacrifice Isaac
  • Father i understand you must sacrifice me in order to please our Lord
  • Sarah tells Abraham the good news. She will bare him a son in his old age. This is important because Abraham probably wants a son to fill in his spot when he is gone
  • Abraham sacrifices Isaac
  • I must now sacrifice you my son, Isaac
  • Sarah has a son in Abraham's old age. Abraham decides that he will call his only son, Isaac. This is important because it shows how Isaac gat his name.
  • The angel of the Lord speaks to Abraham
  • Abraham!, Abraham!, do not offer your son, you have shown your faith to the Lord by listening to the Lord, you must sacrifice that ram instead!
  • Abraham listens to the Lord and sets off early in the morning on his donkey to sacrifice his only son, Isaac. This is important because it shows how Abraham must sacrifice Isaac to please their Lord
  • Abraham lays Isaac down and prepares to sacrifice him. Abraham pulls out his knife and takes a moment to breath before he sacrifices his only son. This is important because this is where Abraham is about to sacrifice Isaac
  • Suddenly the angel starts to speak to Abraham in urge before he does anything to harm Isaac. Abraham now does not have to sacrifice his son, he must sacrifice the ram instead. This is important because it shows how Abraham will do anything to please his Lord.
