The narrator does not like the old man's eye. He describes the eye as an evil eye that look like it belong to a vulture.
Again and Again
The climax of the story is when the narrator has finally had enough of the old man. When the narrator hears the mans heartbeat (when it is really his own) he kills the man and hides his body.
The setting of the story is in an old home where the old man and the narrator live. The narrator has been thinking of ways to get rid of the old mans eye and finally decides on taking his life.
An again and again moment in the story would be when the narrator keeps referring the old mans eye as an evil, vulture eye.
Some characters in the story are; The old man, the narrator, and the police.
The narrator had finally had enough of the old man and his "evil" eye so the narrator killed the old man.
