  • "One lantern if by land and two lanterns if by sea "
  • "Yes sir"
  • "Thank you for helping me cross this river"
  • "It's an honor Mr.Revere"
  • "Is that a colonist coming our way?"
  • "I believe so, lets get him before he can warn the others"
  • In both the poem and the deposition Paul Revere talked out a plan of what to do with the lanterns in the bell tower for one if the redcoats came by land and two if by sea.
  • "I woke up as many people I could sir"
  • In the poem it said that Revere was by himself to row across the river but in his deposition there where two friends who helped Revere
  • "The regulars are coming!"
  • "I saw two men on horseback under a tree" is what it states in the deposition but in the poem all of the regulars where at the barracks.
  • "Fire!"
  • In both the poem and the deposition the both mentioned how they woke up as many people they could in Lexington. and then he was on his way to concord.
  • Revere had made it to concord and was alarming them to wake up all the Minuit Men telling them the British redcoats are coming. and to ready their arms.
  • Revere had just made it to concord in time to wake everyone up and the first shot we never knew who shot it so it became "The shot heard round the world"about fifty people arrived.
